Hello folks! How is it going?
I know it has been quite some time since we participated in this weekly segment, and I agree, I am the one to blame. Apology accepted! Nevertheless, let’s begin again!
A long time has passed since our lat segment and many new people have joined us on this beautiful journey. So for all my new readers, here is a quick brief. Every alternate Wednesday, I host an online discussion on my blog related to literature. I ask you a question and provide you with my answer for the same. All you guys have to do is share your opinions about the particular theme/question in my comments section!
So here is the question for this Wednesday.
Which recent read made you shed some unceasing tears?
Well, I think most of you already know my answer. I blabbered relentlessly about it in my last review. Undoubtedly it is A Man Called Ove! What a masterpiece of a novel! Did I mention, it has been added to my favorite novels list as well? Well now you know.
I would be waiting to hear about your emotional experiences with books and read all the soul-stirring novels as soon as I get a chance to do so. And as Micheal Scott says,” I am ready to get hurt again”.
If you enjoyed my post, don’t forget to like and comment. Follow my blog for similar content. And a humble request,do read this book if you haven’t already. I assure you, you won’t be disappointed!
Until the next time,
Cheers!

I feel bad saying this, but I don’t remember a time, at least not recently, when I had that kind of emotional reaction to a book. Music and movies, though, that’s another story…

Never mind. You can always begin with A Man Called Over.
Do share your music playlists and movie lists with us. I am sure people would love to give it a listen and look and soak in the magic of emotions. 😊

I’ll start with this… this is one of my particular favorite songs that always makes me cry. It became even more meaningful when I saw them live in 2014ish and the guy explained that the song was based on a true story. I should give the disclaimer that the song is written from a blatantly Christian worldview, but I would think that the theme of hope in the face of despair is something everyone can relate to. If I think of anything else to share, maybe I’ll post more later; I have to go do something at the moment.

Yesterday, as I held my cat Spike and he maintained eye contact with me. The knowing dropped in of what an absolute miracle it is to experience when one being is communing with another in attention. Tears and Joy.

Wow! It must have been an ethereal moment. Such is the ironic beauty of nature. Sometimes quite moments like these are enough to express ourselves and sometimes even words fall short!
