Hi, I am Bhagyashree!

Welcome to my blog! I feel ecstatic after knowing my posts piqued your interest to know more about me!

I am the bespectacled girl-next-door, who you wouldn’t notice until you wanted to discuss literature, learn guitar or wanted a poetic take on mundane things. My life revolves around words. Given an opportunity to choose a word to describe my life, without doubt I’d choose ‘literature’. I remember going to a bookstore in childhood, with my mother to buy a book and coming back with five! That was the moment, my destiny choose me. Literature became a part of me and I became a part of literature. Be it books, poetry or stories, I fell head over heels in love with them long back and would continue to love them till the end of time.

Apart from living life the classic introvert style and battling an existential crisis every now and then, I write poetry and short stories.I published my first book of poetry when I was in high school and now I am working on a collection of short stories. If you don’t find me hurried in a corner, with my nose buried in books, you might find me humming tunes on my guitar, painting or enjoying and propagating sarcasm.We might share a great rapport, if you share my love for dogs and coffee and hatred for spoilers!

I started this blog to give my love for reading and writing a platform and to meet like minded individuals. I guess this was one of the best decisions of my life. I also run an online book club ” LITERARY LISTINGS” on WordPress.
