Two Truths and a Lie

Hello everybody! I hope you are doing well. It is the onset of winters and what are winters without cozy clothes and warm conversations? So let’s play a game today, shall we?

The rules of the game are simple. I would enumerate three things about me in this blog post; two truths and a lie. All you have to do is to guess which one is the lie and answer in the comments. I urge all my readers to reveal their statements in my comments section and I would rack my detective brains to find out the fiction from the facts.

Here we go.

1. I have never owned a pair of stiletto heels in my life.

2. I was once mistaken for a child at a theme park and had to pay less money for the rides.

3. I secretly want people to compliment my handwriting more.

I hope you have a gala time being on a detective roll. I will be waiting to read your answers and statements!

If you enjoyed my post, don’t forget to like and comment. Also follow my blog for similar content!

Until the next time,

Cheers!

  1. I vote 2 is the lie.
Here are mine. I’m answering in character; it is January 1996, so I will make my statements as they were in January 1996, and to make it extra fun, I won’t use anything that I have ever definitively written about in my blog.
    1) I have never kissed a girl on the lips.
    2) I have never been outside of the United States.
    3) I have never eaten sushi.

      1. You are correct also! Just barely, though. The only time I have been out of the US was a road trip when I was 9, when we went to the Northwest to see my dad’s biological mother, then we all rented an RV and went to the Expo ’86 World’s Fair in Vancouver. (As an adult I have been to Canada one other time, briefly, I went to both sides of Niagara Falls. When all this crap is over I really should do more traveling.)

  2. I was wrong. I would have figured 2 to be true; it would have been a great story! Here are mine: 1. I was once lifted several inches off the ground when a strong wind got under my umbrella. 2. Every year I would tell my first boyfriendโ€™s mother happy birthday on May 1st and every year she would say, โ€œI keep telling you today is not my birthday.โ€™ I am now married to a man I met 3 months after his own mother died; her birthday is May 1st. 3. My right leg and my mid-to-lower back are covered with tattoos.
